Fundraising Committee - The FSP has a tradition of not asking our families to sell anything.  Our goal with the fund raising committee is to find ways to raise more funds without it costing parents more or asking them to sell/buy anything.  For example, we can promote the eScrip program we are involved with more and try and coordinate restaurant nights with local vendors.  Another idea is to get local businesses to sponsor our group.  Something like…if they donate $1,000 they are considered a Platinum Partner,  $500-999 they are a Gold Partner, etc.  We will have a sponsor page on our website promoting the businesses.  We could also get sponsors for the events we hold and then their names would be published with event announcements, etc.
Hot LunchHot lunches are an important fund-raiser for the FSP.  You must plan menus with APPROVED vendors, organize and submit menus to school nurses for approval and President for printing. Volunteer duties: Assist in organizing and handing out lunches.

As a committee chair you should plan on attending the general meetings to report your committee’s plans, etc. If you can not attend, please have one of your volunteers attend to give a report OR email your report to the FSP Vice President to read at the meeting for you. We don’t need volunteers for the meetings, but we do need your input! Please join us, as well as the principals and superintendent, to discuss current events in the District.
